Watching Galaxy Quest, our first long distance movie watching experience! We’ve reached a milestone, thanks to the wonders of iTunes! Haha! The first shot is when Ryan was laughing at me while I was crying because this guy was shot. Don’t worry, Ryan hasn’t turned into an evil, heartless guy. It’s actually really a comedy, so it was a bit ridiculous that I started to cry! The alien guys were just so lovable! And Alan Rickman was SUPER FUNNY in it! He’s always been such a Snape after all!

Just enough sun, a nice cool sea breeze, fine white sand, clear waters, a hammock, a good book, some nice peaceful music… I’d gladly wake up early every morning for this.

My student’s drawing of Atlantis’ Little Mermaid! He is a big fan of Disney princesses and Little Mermaid is at the tippy top of his list (yes, he’s a he)! Look how accurate his drawing is! From the sleeves to the leg/tail!
